Kernbegrippen daarbij zijn de Triaspolitica, het stelsel van checks and balances en de constitutionele monarchie met een parlementair stelsel.

neutral  Riens Middelhof: Dat deze term (net als governance) veel gebruikt wordt staat buiten kijf, maar als er een goed en mooi alternatief bestaat?

  -> Het feit dat de Engelse term in veel gevallen tussen haakjes wordt toegevoegd, duidt er m.i. op dat de vertaalde term niet als "volwaardig" equivalent wordt gezien binnen het politieke domein. Als vertaler moet je ook kijken naar je doelgroep.
