Er komen geen ebolacontroles op Schiphol, omdat er geen directe vluchten zijn op de landen in West-Afrika die zijn getroffen door het virus.

Dat meldde het Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM) vandaag, dat Schiphol hierin adviseert. 'Passagiers die uit ebolalanden vertrekken, worden op koorts gecontroleerd. Als screening bij aankomst wordt ingevoerd, dan zou dat moeten gebeuren in landen die een directe verbinding hebben met Liberia, Sierra Leone of Guinee', aldus een RIVM-woordvoerder.
