Een bespreking van competenties; Onder de competentie "offer definition and value proposition":
"Increasing performance in this competency will help us design, develop, bring to market, and retire competitive offers that resonate with target customers".

Ik vind de combinatie "bring to market" en "retire" nogal vreemd. Ik ben ook niet zeker of het nu om offertes gaat of om het aanbod.

... stelt ons beter in staat om concurrerende aanbiedingen/producten te ontwerpen, te ontwikkelen, op de markt te brengen en weer af te voeren ...

je kunt "offer" hier met aanbieding vertalen, maar het is eigenlijk gewoon een (goed en dus concurrerend) product, dat eerst wordt ontwikkeld, dan op de markt gezet en ten slotte weer wordt afgevoerd.

er zit als het goed is een heleboel tijd tussen "bring to market" en "retire" :-)
