Misschien komen termen als 'hout of houten planken met randnerf' vaker voor, maar in deze context denk ik dat randnerfhout de beste vertaling is.

disagree  sindy cremer: Roel, beide referenties zijn slechte vertalingen :( De term 'randnerfhout' komt op het web één keer voor en ook daar gaat het om een slechte vertaling. Ik kies voor 'disagree' in plaats van 'neutral' vanwege onterecht vertrouwensniveau '5'.

  -> Nou, daar heb je wel gelijk in. Ik zag de term randnerf een paar keer voorbij komen en dacht het op te lossen door een samengesteld znw ervan te maken. Tevens had ik niet goed op de 'confidence'-level gelet. Bedankt voor je aanmerking.
