agree  Antoinette Verburg: ja, 'subsp.' of 'ssp.' /// Dank je, Jozef, maar dat doe ik niet. :-) Op een Engelse site las ik dat ze daar de voorkeur geven aan 'subsp.' omdat het verwarring met 'spp.' (meerv. van species) uitsluit. Kan me voorstellen dat dat voor het NL ook geldt.

  -> je hebt gelijk Antoinette, alhoewel beide afkortingen gebruikt worden, vind ik persoonlijk ssp. beter dan subsp. Als je wilt mag je het zelf voorstellen als vertaling.
