Handelswaar als onderpand


Explanation:
Commodity paper wordt in Campbell R. Harvey's Hypertextual Finance Glossary uitgelegd als "A loan or advance secured by commodities". Dus een (investering-)lening of een voorschot met handelswaar als onderpand. Nu ben ik zelf geen financieel expert, dus ik weet niet precies wat de Nederlandse term is. Hopelijk helpt deze uitleg je toch op de goede weg.

Update: wat meer research leert me dat het hier waarschijnlijk toch om een papiersoort gaat. Verwarrend... Excuses als ik u op het verkeerde been heb gezet.
