muis van zijn hand Explanation: Ik zou het op enkelvoud houden in het Nederlands, tenzij ergens uit blijkt dat het belangrijk is dat hij zich met twee handen in de ogen wreef. Het zijn volgens mij twee verschillende gebaren, een hand meer achteloos dan twee. Ik zou liever zeggen dat hij zich in de ogen wreef (of zijn ogen), en die hele muis van zijn hand weglaten. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 55 mins (2017-02-18 17:12:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Volgens mij kun je ook zeggen: met de muis van zijn hand in de ogen. Het klopt letterlijk niet, een muis/hand en twee ogen, maar literair werkt het voor mij juist wel. |
