Restaurants

Persian (Farsi) translation: رستورانها

English to Persian (Farsi) translations [Non-PRO]
Food & Drink
English term or phrase: Restaurants
Google Translate gave me this: رستوران

However, a long time ago a Persian guy translated it like this:
http://www.wildboar.net/multilingual/middleeastern/persian/r...
Basically, it's the same word + an unknown letter not found in 3 of my Arabic fonts + the letter ﺎ

So now I'd like to know the most correct version and WHY = what's the difference between the 2 versions?
Maybe the first version is singular and the second is plural? Is that the difference or is the second version totally incorrect?
I'm a total amateur, but I have a vein for languages. So I have no idea, how to pronounce it, either. I appreciate your help.

Persian (Farsi) translation:رستورانها
Explanation:
restaurants = رستورانها
restaurant = رستوران

So, both versions are correct, and the difference is only single/plural
