My sentence for translation is the same as the last one:
Sincerity is a necessary condition but not a sufficient condition of salvation.

Again, my interpretation of the above sentence is a follows: without sincerity in your belief you have no hope whatsoever of avoiding eternal punishment for the bad things you've done; with sincerity (which is undeniably a good thing in itself) you most certainly have hope, but only if that belief is the appropriate belief i.e. the belief in Jesus Christ and His dying on the Cross to take the punishment for our sins.
