جوش آتش عبارت است از یک روش بسیار قدیمی در جهت متصل کردن دو یا چند قطعه فلز به هم بدین صورت که ابتدا قطعات فلزی را کاملا حرارت داده و سپس با پتک و چکش آنقدر به آنها ضربه زده تا به هم پیوند خورند.در این روش فلزات را تا زیر نقطه ذوب حرارت میدادند و سپس ضربه زدن را آغاز میکردند.با پدیدار شدن روشهای جوشکاری گازی در دوره انقلاب صنعتی دیگر کاربرد این روش رونق چندانی نداشت

Yes  Mohammad Reza Razaghi: جوش آتش is not a common equivalent for this term and as mentioned by yourself, جوشکاری پتکه ای or جوشکاری آهنگری are the correct ones.
