English term or phrase: Arm-wrestling
Greetings,

Right at the beginning of the series we are shown two rather rough men, Yāvar and Ḥeydar, playing a game. The name of the game sounds like ترنا ‘tornā’, and it looked very similar to arm-wrestling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arm_wrestling) except that two candles were burning in such a position that the loser would get his hand burnt upon losing.

If you have such a tradition during the first ten nights of the month of Muḥarram please let me know the name of the game and exact spelling. Otherwise, the general word for ‘arm-wrestling’ will be fine.

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon
