Sorry, Guys. Firstly, there is the time difference, secondly, I was off air due to my job commitments. Anne is absolutely right. It's about a company which is placing an advertisement and encouraging people to invest their money by giving loans and they will earn attractive returns lending to businesses. The "pitch" refers to the sales presentation and the company wishes to reassure the investors that the deal is safe.
I agree that "argumentaire" is a good translation, but... could you please provide CONTEXT: who is making this pitch, and for what? If you appreciate our interest in language and translation, please UNDERSTAND ALSO our interest in CONTEXT.
I think "argumentaire" is the right translation. However, we may still keep the source word "pitch". I would like to thank all those who participated in this discussion specially that no points were to be awarded. I really appreciate their help as they showed that they are really interested in languages and translation.
When posting a "not for points" request, the minimum would be to give as much context as possible. All we have got, in 3 days, is a block of 3 sentences. You can see, from the discussion, that it's not enough. From your post in 03:48 Mar 8, I understand that it's about a company looking for investors. What is the business of this company? Where do they want to invest the money? Quick answer, please.
I really doubt it's about a person. It's not a sales pitch either: according to the context provided by the Asker, it looks more like investments in startup projects). I think they mean that they carefully select the projects in which they want to invest and verify all information provided in the pitch decks.
I agree with Tony. I think that the use of "verified" makes it clear that a "pitch" is a person, rather than a sales pitch message, as the latter can be selected but not really verified.
I think it does — not least, from the choice of verbs... Call it native-speaker feeling if you like, but I really can't see the other meaning working at all well here; it's clearly talking about people...
I don't believe so, that's why I asked for more context. As they have been 'verified' and 'selected', it seems to me clear that we can only be talking about 'qualified leads', and 'pitch' is being used in this, more recent, sense of 'the person who is being pitched to'
Make your money work harder for you and enjoy high returns while supporting economy. Start lending! Regular income on your investment. Verified loans, each pitch is carefully selected and verified to bring you the most interesting loan offers.
OK then, so who is it addressing the lender in this text? Really need to try and get some kind of picture of the overall situation here... Is this 'pitch' for the lender going out to recruit 'borrowers'?
Surrounding context required, please; in particular, who does this 'you' refer to? And who is this speaking?

Thanks a lot. It's the nearest translation among . I would still translate by "argumentaire" or keep the source word.
