English term or phrase: He will discharge the existing mortgage
As I mentioned before I am translating a solicitor's letter in French regarding the discharge of a mortgage and I came accross the above. Would it be accurate to translate it by " il acquiterra le pret hypothecaire en cours"
Thanks

he will discharge the existing mortgage
