gestion dans le secteur (de vente) des boissons alcoolisées Explanation: I tried to find a "wide" term here rather than something specific to France Instead, the European Commission hoped that the EU trade associations in the alcoholic drinks sector would help prepare a new legislative proposal that was acceptable to all. europeanspirits.org [...] les associations professionnelles de l'UE du secteur des boissons alcoolisées contribueront à préparer une nouvelle proposition [...] europeanspirits.org |

gestion dans les débits de boissons Explanation: This is certainly the general meaning, though I don't know what the exact equivalent term is in FR — but that should be easy enough for you to research now you have the basic meaning. The 'licensed trade' in EN-GB specifically means establishments licensed to sell alcohol; although obviously this specifically includes restaurants and hotles, the term is princiaplly associated with those kinds of establishents whose main activity is serving alcohol, for example pubs, bars, cluubs, etc. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 minutes (2016-03-05 09:35:11 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I think my answer is incomplete, the notion of 'trade' ought to be something like 'gestion dans le secteur des débits de boissons' etc. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 12 minutes (2016-03-05 09:38:30 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Here are three related terms from R+C: the shop is licensed for the sale of alcoholic liquor : le magasin détient une licence de débit de boissons licensed victualler (Brit Law) : patron m or gérant m d'un pub (on) licensed premises (Brit) : (dans un) établissement ayant une licence de débit de boissons -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 20 heures (2016-03-06 05:52:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Although as AllegroTrans points out, this might also apply to establishments other than actual bars (e.g. off-licenses), I suspect the whole point of this 'management' is all about managing premises where alcohol is consumed. |
