Actually, since 'cable' is not in Asker's question (only in the context), the term for the glossary should be 'rediffusion'.

Note that '(radio)diffusion' is the conventional translation in French of 'broadcasting', whether radio or TV; and the ST refers to the simulatenous carriage of free to air (FTA) broadcast programmes (radio or TV) on cable networks.
