Blue key studio

Traditionally, blue has been used a lot in TV, while green is currently more common in cinema

It is common to refer to it as 'blue key' even if the colour is in fact green.

Note that 'key' was originally a term specifically from TV technology, suggesting this might be a video rather than cinema studio; except, of course, that with the advent of digital in the cinema, the two technologies are now very largely merged, so the distinction is probably no longer valid!
