English term or phrase: Chipmunking
Good morning,

The term is used in a cartoon broadcast on television.
The hero is entering an eating contest (eating up as many hotdogs as he can in a limited period of time).
The voice over is using the term "chipmunking", describing it as a very popular technique used in all eating contexts. I can visualize the action, but I cannot find the right term for it, keeping in mind that the vocabulary used is very familiar, aimed at children.

The word in its context, excerpt from the text : 'Chipmunking', as it is called, is a typical eating contest technique, most effective at the end, in the last seconds!

'grignotage' is not powerful enough I believe....

Thank you very much!

Ou, si le nom peut être traduit par un verbe en tournant la phrase autrement, pourquoi pas bâfrer ?

Notes to answerer
