English term or phrase: double cut
Bonjour à tous,

on m'a donné la définition de ce terme, à savoir "to use different film shots/angles of the same scene" mais je n'arrive pas à trouver la bonne traduction en français. Des idées ?

Voici la phrase : "We go out of time and we double cut it, and pretty much everybodywho's seen it likes it."

Merci d'avance !

fondu enchaîné

Explanation:
entre S2 et S3 puis entre S3 et S4 ne manque pas d'être ambigu : double cut ..... que le raccord entre les deux séquences va s'effectuer en fondu enchaîné

Two shots are overlapped for the duration of the effect, usually at the end of one scene and the beginning of the next, but may be used in montage sequences also.

neutral  FX Fraipont (X): that is certainly not "double cut", and rather "dissolve" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissolve_(filmmaking)
