Le décor ne change pas, seuls les déplacements des personnages à l’intérieur du cadre créeront du mouvement et détermineront la dynamique de l’image. Si le plan fixe est utilisé pour une longue séquence, la caméra ne bougeant pas, le spectateur ne se sent pas forcément intégré à l’action.
