English term or phrase: snap
Hello

"Use universal 19-inch cabinet, snap and M6 cage nut at three square slots of 1U on both side of the rack, where you will be installing the BBU."

agree  Tony M: Yes, these are 'cage nuts' that 'snap' (or 'clip') into the square holes in the rack uprights. I've been a professional using these things in rack-mounting for years and years. No element of 'blocking' involved.

agree  Philippe Etienne: From your decisive explanation and typo detection skills, il s'agit donc d'emboîter/clipser un écrou en cage

-> Merci, Philippe !
