bien doré Explanation: I don't think it would be at all usual to describe the colour literally as any form of brown; we normally just describe degrees of browning, such as 'lightly browned', etc. So I think this would probably be the best and most idiomatic way to describe 'well browned'. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 31 mins (2013-06-08 07:11:45 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Now I've seen your other question, I feel more convinced than ever that this is the best solution here. |
