The purpose of this work instruction is to describe how to access and review the Degrade Rule related to the machine limitations for routing purposes and how to correct them.

This degrade rule is triggered by the Smallest Panel length field on the Product Design (fig. 3) and fires when the length falls below the minimum panel size for the machinery.

The most common reason the Smallest Panel Minimum stop rule fires is because the join tab size is populated in the Smallest panel length field.

This message also displays when the join tab size indicated in the tab width field falls outside the machine specifications for join tab size.

Verify the tab width field is populated correctly and if message continues to show an error for join tab size, check the degrade rule set up for Join Tab Size for the machinery.
