English term or phrase: I/O EXISTING
Dans un message swift concernant une LC, je trouve l'expression "I/O EXISTING".

Savez-vous de quoi il s'agit ? Merci

Explanation:
By LC I'm assuming you mean letter of credit. I first thought of "interest only", but I don't see how it would apply to an LC. But I found this http://www.boft.co/data/documents/S.W.I.F.T.-Telex-Field-Def... , which would apply if your swift message is a 700 or 701 message. It is the last field and means "instead of". How it might relate to the letter of credit or to the term "existing" however, I have no idea!

Sorry, I am now realizing I proposed an explanation instead of a translation! Depending on whether your client is familiar with the structure of swift messages, I would either leave as "I/O existant" or something like "au lieu de: existant" but that does seem a bit weird put like that so you'd definitely have to see whether it can make sense in context.

Here seems to be a confirmation that it doesn't only apply to MT700 and 701 but potentially to any swift message : https://www.trade-technologies.com/swift-codes-german

INTRANTS/EXTRANTS - EXISTANTS

Explanation:
Manque de contexte ! Qu'est-ce qu'une LC ? Si I/O correspond à "Intrants/Extrants", une alternative peut être "Entrées/Sorties"
