The police often try to find a criminal's fingerprints at the scene of a crime?

Sometimes these fingerprints are hard to find.

But a new technique can find fingerprints more easily if the criminal has been eating fast food!

Why is that?!

Here is the reason:

A new study says that criminals who eat food that is very salty leave fingerprints that are easier to identify. And fast food is very salty!

Police can now find the corrosion on metal that is left by finger-tip sweat. (More salt in the sweat causes more corrosion.)

Perhaps criminals will now stop eating fast food!
