C'est ce qu'un homme politique britannique aurait fait, selon certains, à l'ambassadeur britannique à Washington (https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-the-papers-48945583).

Pas de problème avec le sens dans ce contexte, mais comment traduiriez-vous ça en français de chez nous ? J'imagine que « broyer » pourrait faire partie de la réponse ? J'ai aussi vu « jeter aux lions » sur Linguee. D'autres idées ?

Quoi qu'en disent certains sites, je n'ai jamais entendu personne ici menacer de jeter qui que ce soit sous un bus, surtout dans ce sens/contexte.
