Bonjour,

Je travaille sur une traduction correcte de "genome-based pathogen", et mes connaissances en sciences étant limitées, je ne voudrais pas écrire une énormité.
S'agit-il d'un agent pathogène doté d'un ADN ? Mais les agents pathogènes ne sont-ils pas tous dotés d'un ADN ?
J'ai peu de contexte, on parle d'un virus extrêmement contagieux.
L'expression est extraite de la phrase suivante :
"The die-off rate for any genome-based pathogen exposed to direct ultraviolet radiation is over 90 percent."

Ce qui me donne pour l'instant :
Le taux de mortalité de tout agent pathogène 'genome-based' exposé à une radiation directe aux UV dépasse les 90%.

  -> La traduction proposée est erronée: "the die-off rate FOR" n'est pas le "taux de mortalité DE" mais "POUR"; on parle ici d'utiliser les UV pour détruire un pathogène agissant sur le génome
