Adjo C'est quoi, donc, votre question, svp ?
Barbara Carrara Sep 2, 2018:
I think... ... the asker is seeking help with the 'check one' (Cochez l'une des cases ?) bit only. Am I wrong?
If so, please edit your question to reflect that.

District of Columbia =Washington DC Why do you want to translate the names of these counties or the states?

I would keep them as is...

Since it is just a list on a survey, it is not really necessary to translate as the people answering the survey would, of course, know/have known the names.

The people using the data in the survey will also know that they are all places in the USA on the east coast so translating is not needed for them to compile the data.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I did keep them as is.

agree Daryo : Except for few well known toponyms, there won't be any translated name available anyway!
