English term or phrase: boulder field
environmental study :partly describes the habitat of some lizard species on a mountain range set for mining development. A canadian source gave me "champs de boules" but I am a bit concerned about québéquois habit of making everything look as french as possible (not being nasty, just cautious!)

champ de cailloux

Explanation:

Explanation:
j'ai trouvé ceci dans "the asian multilignual theasurus of geosciences"
