The Wharf Jeremie Project (Project) is located near Port-au-Prince, Haiti just to the north of the commercial port. A large scale upland site redevelopment is planned that will consist of a market, industrial warehouse area, and trade school. A public promenade connecting to a mangrove protection area and beach are also planned. A coastal engineering study was completed for the proposed Project to evaluate coastal processes at the Project site including winds, waves, currents, tsunami risk and storm surge to establish design criteria for shore protection along the proposed site redevelopment.

par opposition à côtier (coastal site), car 60 % de montagnes et 40 % de collines.
Il est prévu de réaménager ce territoire.

du département de l'ouest d'Haïti, situé à 52 km au sud-ouest de Port-au-Prince, ... Le parc national de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard se compose d'un petit territoire .... Il s'agit donc d'un territoire montagneux autant que côtier. unesdoc.unesco.org. It is therefore as much an upland site as a coastal one.
