The Length of Service Recognition program provides a formal recognition of employee service at significant service milestones.
Seasonal employees are not included however, if a seasonal employee transfers to a permanent full-time or part-time role, their service as a seasonal employee will be included as long as there is no break in service.

The service recognition milestone must occur between January 1 and December 31 of the applicable milestone year, based on the continuous service date or the original hire date in the case of approved bridged time.

disagree  Daryo: where is the "bridged" time gone??? and "approved" is also gone AWOL ... // it does amount to "le cumul des cumul des durées de service" (that's the end result) but the key point is about how GAPS in employment are viewed.
