Dans une police d'assurance, le terme revient régulièrement dans le même contexte:
The Insurer shall be liabe for the costs resulting of an insured damage.

Peut-on traduire ici "be liable for" par "prendre en charge"? C'est bien entendu le sens général, je me demande juste si, juridiquement, il n'y aurait pas une différence avec "être responsable, engager sa responsabilité", etc.
