English term or phrase: mitigation
Hello,

In a Deed of modification (avenant) concerning a Benefits scheme, Trustees and guarantor, I came into this sentence :

"On xxx january, the Principal Employer sold its entire business and assets and the Garantor has agreed, by way of an agreement with the Trustees dated 2, 15, 16 and 29 october 2013 (the Mitigation agreement), to provide the Trustess with mitigation to reflect the loss of support of the Principal employer to the Scheme".

S'agit -it d'un accord d'atténuation (des risques) ?

Merci de votre aide,

Cdt,
