"The multilayer cylinder head gasket has orifices corresponding to the cylinders and inserted cylinder sleeves (11). A combustion chamber seal (2) contains a functional layer (3) with a ridge (5). A separate outer layer (10) is positioned outside the combustion chamber seal and extends beyond the cylinder sleeve."
