l'effet taille d'ensemble Explanation: Here, we seem to be talking about 'set' in the mathematical sense, where we find plenty of examples of 'taille d'ensemble' for 'set size'; here, this appears the be the effect of the size of the set (making the set bigger has some kind of effect, as is being described here...) HOWEVER, forstly I am no expert in this field, and secondly, I obtained ZERO results when trying a Google search on the whole expression; searching for the 2 parts separately returned plenty of results, but I could find nothing relevant to the context here. I hope this may simply be of some help for you with further research. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 minutes (2017-03-20 20:06:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- This EN article may help by giving a fuller definition of the term: https://books.google.fr/books?id=G0AzSGpbMQUC&pg=PA16&lpg=PA... I also note that many source express it as "set-size effect", where the hyphen helpfully guides comprehension. |
