English term or phrase: Fit
This is a term for the GUI of a mobile handset application to play videos. There is a Settings menu, and one of the options in there is "Fit" (along with Zoom, Resize, Resume, etc.)

I believe this is referring to trying to make the size of the video fit to the dimensions of the screen on the mobile phone, however it is a separate menu item from the Zoom and Resize options so it should not be a translation that would duplicate one of those menu items.

ajuster
Explanation:
This is the term adopted by one of my customers who is a major developer of specialist photographic imaging software.

It is short, of course, for 'ajuster à la taille de l'écran'.

I believe I'm right in saying that this is used by several other major software publishers too.

Of course, 'to fit' is translated by 'ajuster' in plenty of other, more general fields as well — including, for example, mechanical engineering.
