neutral  cc in nyc: I can't be SURE from the short text, but I don't think this is the sense of "caretaker" in this context

  -> I saw it as someone formally responsible for someone else's children, which is "tuteur" in French, and therefore not a babysitter, but maybe it is being used less formally here.
