Ce terme désigne tout ce qui sert à avoir sur la scène le son ou l'image tel que l'ont les spectateurs, le plus souvent c'est pour de la restitution (enceintes, amplis..) mais la caméra et le micro pourraient faire partie du même système
Par contre dans ce que je traduis ça se dit plus monitoring que show relay

neutral  Tony M: It's actually not quite this, Didier — what you describe is indeed 'monitoring' or 'foldback'; here, it's a bit different: it means a live feed of what is happening on stage, being sent to somewhere else (e.g. green room); so there's no 'retour' about it.
