Hi there, I'm having some difficulties with the expression "packing thrust". Here's some context:

With the Bredall style condensation pressure is directed to gingival and occlusal areas, not angulated towards the matrix bands. This is important when the operator is seated, because the dentist does not have to contort with the instruments to get packing thrust and the patient does not have to open as wide.

My current translation:

Grâce au foulage de type Bredall, la pression est dirigée vers les zones gingivales et occlusales, et non orientée vers les bandes matrices. Cela est important lorsque l'utilisateur est assis, car le dentiste n’a pas à se tordre avec les instruments pour obtenir XXXX , et le patient n’a pas à ouvrir autant sans bouche.
