gisement de fer linéaire Explanation: Termium, LGDT, the Dictionnaire des Sciences et Techniques du Pétrole all say at "channel deposit": gîte en traînées, en forme de traînée The Dictionnaire des Sciences de la Terre (Mirchel/Fairbridge) says at "channel deposit": gisement linéaire I favor this latter translation, confirmed by this reference as to "gisement linéaire": http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:8EcSekM... Although there is no reference to confirm the expression "gisement de fer linéaire" or "gisement de fer en traînées", in my opinion the expression is correct. |
