probably Cornel West Explanation: le vrai titre est "Race Matters" "Originally published 1 year after the April 1992 LA Riots, Race Matters, authored by Harvard Professor Conrnel West, tackles the difficult issue of race headlong. Written from the perspective of this brilliant and enlightened African-American scholar, Race Matters is an intellectual and insightful look at the politics of race in American society. He objectively and uncompromisingly examines the problems plaguing the black community and America’s relations with it, and gives valued opinions on plans for progressive action. Reissued by Vintage Books in May of 2001 (with a new preface by the author included), West’s thoughts and analyses here are unquestionably as relevant, insightful, and unsettling as they were almost a decade ago, possibly even more so. http://www.epinions.com/content_66708541060 Cornel West Voir: http://www.pragmatism.org/library/west/ |
