Asker: Merci beaucoup pour votre réponse. J'avais pensé à cette traduction après avoir consulté Termium, mais les expressions "avancer à l'esbroufe" ou "faire de l'esbroufe" me semblent en effet appartenir à un registre trop familier pour le contexte...
