...this expression is applied to secondary homes in particular, and means that when your stay is over, there is nothing you need to do except simply lock up and leave — i.e. there is no garden to maintain, no swimming pool to drain, no patio furniture to bring in... That's the general idea, though of course it will depend on the particular property...

It's usually said (as could well be the case with this flat) as a way of suggesting that it will be a low-maintenance home, ideal perhaps as a pied-à-terre or secondary residence

Je connais cela quand vous louez des condos, quand vous partez, tout est pris en charge par la societe de location. Vous fermez et partez. Il n'y a pas d'etat des lieux, etc...
