Obtaining any loan in paragraphs 2C, 2D or elsewhere is NOT a contingency of this Agreement. If Buyer does not obtain the loan and as a result Buyer does not purchase the Property, Seller may be entitled to Buyer's deposit or other legal remedies.

Après avoir retrouvé mon dictionnaire juridique préféré (Dahl's Law Dictionnary) qui prend en compte les différences US et GB :

Contingency : contingence, casuel, éventuel, conditionnel, événement imprévu.

Par référence à ce qui précède, il est stipulé que la non obstention d'un prêt ne constitue nullement un événement imprévu.
