Explanation:
Bateau désigne les embarcations de navigation intérieure. Navire se rapporte aux embarcations navigant en mer. On n'emploie parfois à tort 'bateau' pour désigner les navires (bateau de plaisance). En fonction du contexte il est souvent plus simple d'utiliser le terme générique : 'une unité d'une quinzaine de mètres'.
