Je suis plutôt un mec qui passe à l'acte / qui préfère l'action Explanation: This may be taking it too far, but ought to be along the right lines, I feel. As you say the roofer is very correct, 'passer à l'acte' may be too explicit, so perhaps the second less obvious version might be better; but either way, I think they would convey the right connotation to justfiy her firing him (because she's afraid he's going to lay hands on her). Writeaway has exactly understood the problem and explained the meaning of the EN term very well. |

Là, au moins, le qui pro quo (le "double entendre" de nos amis Anglais) est beaucoup plus marqué. |
