English term or phrase: Team-build
The full sentence to translate into French: "Team-build - by promoting good morale and protecting the group's reputation with outsiders".
I would like confirmation about the term "team-build". Personnally, I would keep it in English in my French translation. It's an expression. However, I am having doubts whether I should translate it, "construction d'équipe", something like that. This is meant for a seminar. Thank you for your help!

disagree  Florence Kermet (X): Même si c'est un terme utilisé en français, il n'implique pas l'action de créer ou construire une équipe (build) - simplement un état (de cohésion). A ce moment là, "renforcement de la cohésion d'équipe" serait plus proche de la version anglaise.

team-build
renforcement d'équipe/ construction d'equipe/ team building

Explanation:
Team-build is about providing the skills, training and resources that your people need, so that they can work in harmony.

Team-build is translated either by "renforcement d'équipe", "construction d'équipe" or simply left in the source language when used in French. I would advise to translate by "team building (construction d'équipe)" for the first occurence, then always refer to "team building" for the following occurences like it is done on some websites.

Example sentence(s):
  • Les séances de team building se déroulent le plus souvent lors de séminaires spécifiques
  • Le team building, en français renforcement d'équipe1, est une méthode qui est apparue au début des années 1980 et dont l'objectif est le resserrement des liens entre les membres d'une équipe.
