Par exemple, un mécanisme polyvalent pour mettre un appui-tête dans la position désirée, ce serait donc une option qui est sophistiquée. "Engineered" comme tel se traduit soit par "mis au point", soit par "sophistiqué", anglicisme désormais admis en français (Termium).
