Building book creates large and attractive receivables whose associated liabiliteis do not become fully realised until years afterwards. Contracts are agreed whose values appear in the books but no outgoins for a good while. This increases the value of a company for prospective buyers.

This has nothing to do with the usual "bookbuilding" in connection with share issues.

Sehr eng an korrekter (ich sage bewusst korrekter) Rechnungswesenterminologie ist das aber nicht, eher ein kurzer Arbeitsvortrag oder ... .

Ich kann diese Textkategorie schwer einordnen.

Asker: danke, aber das hat überhaupt nichts mit Büchern zu tun, book hier ist die Bilanz eines Unternehmens, und die Erklärung hinsichtlich einer Übernahme ist eigentlich eindeutig, auch, dass es sich um kreative Buchhaltung handelt.

disagree  Werner Walther: Wenn das dieses krumme Ding sein soll, kann man das nicht einfach so hinschreiben, als ob nichts wäre. Insofern halte ich das hier für falsch. Der deutsche Ausdruck dafür ist politisch nicht mehr korrekt (getürkt - liebe Freunde, verzeiht mir!).
