English term or phrase: book net income
I have a list of items with figures for a tax year from the US: EBITA, interest expense, tax expense, depreciation/amortization expense and then the subtotal is described as "net book income" (the total as "taxable income"). Is "net book income" the same as "Nettobuchgewinn" (I think it is not and Nettobuchgewinn is only the word used to describe capital gains on things like investments that have been sold).
What else could I use for "net book income" in German?
I know that "net income" is "Nettogewinn" or even "(Jahres-)Überschuss" but it is the "net" that is getting me..

German translation:handelsrechtlicher Jahresüberschuss/ -es Jahresergebniss
Explanation:
Perhaps with "US-" in front of handelsrechtlich so the reader knows its US-GAAP and not HGB or some other GAAP.
