Weiß jemand, wie der Fachbegriff für diese Teile ist? "Elementare/grundlegende" Teile hört sich etwas laienhaft an.

agree  Steffen Walter: Nicht sicher, ob die Zuordnung (bzw. der Fokus) des deutschen Satzes die-/derselbe wie im englischen ist. M. E. gilt: component = Baugruppe, sub-assembly = Unterbaugruppe, elementary parts = Grund-/Einzelbauteile. Der dt. Satz ist zumindest doppeldeutig.
